AMEN!!! Thank you President Bush!!

Have you thanked our two term President lately? loan

Yes, my kids and grandkids will thank him once they see the bill for the Iraq war.

EDIT: Rich people are also the biggest beneficiaries of taxes, since many of them get huge subsidies for their businesses and many of them also benefit from the government%26#039;s sale of public lands and resources (especially during the current administration). You shouldn%26#039;t assume that because someone criticizes the Bush administration, that automatically makes them a liberal. By the way, this deficit should have you worried, unless of course, you are not a real conservative.

Troll!|||Its easy to have money when you borrow, a truely strong economy is built on productivity.|||Yes. I am very proud of our president and am going to be sad to see him go.

I love the way he looks at Laura, it shows want kind of man he is.|||%26quot;no terrorists attacks on USA soil since 9/11%26quot;

it%26#039;s not like terrorists attacks on the country were an everyday occurence before 9/11...how many times do i have to tell you this.

as for the economy, the government is about 1 tril dollars in debt. a low unemployment rate doesn%26#039;t necessarily constitute a good economy|||George W. Bush is America%26#039;s all-time worst 2 term president. I%26#039;m starting to question your sanity, if you think that President Bush has done a good job in his time in office. You obviously aren%26#039;t a common sense type of conservative.|||I am thankful everyday that we are safe, and that no scandals have been implicated in the White House.|||Hahahahahaa,Good one, hahahaha you%26#039;re funny, Hahahahaa..Keep %26#039;em coming...|||Nope but i have thanks the Lord that its almost over. He really doesn%26#039;t do a thing for me so i have not reason to thank him. Maybe is he passed me the salt at dinner or something but no I have had not reason to thank him.

Hey lets not knock starbucks now I like there coffee.|||no terror attacks since 911? anthrax?|||Thank him for what?

For the near $9 trillion dollar national debt and the huge trade deficits we have now?

For the US dollar now being weaker than the Canadaian dollar?

For his promises to veto a children%26#039;s healthcare bill?

For his runaway spending habits?

For the endless scandals coming from his inner circle and his party?

For his increasing of the power and size of the federal government while attepmting to take away states%26#039; rights?

For using the non-existent threat of Saddam Hussein%26#039;s non-existent mushroom cloud to scare us into suppporting his war?

For promoting amnesty for illegal immigrants?

No, I don%26#039;t see myself thanking him anytime soon.

Honor and diginty my achin%26#039; ***!|||Well first no there have not been any terrorist attacks since 9/11 but I consider that luck. We need to bump up our security A LOT more because there is definitely a problem when anyone who wants to can just cross our borders. If people think the war in Iraq is keeping us safe well...it isn%26#039;t. Second, people%26#039;s jobs are STILL being sent to China and Clinton managed to keep the unemployment rate low his entire presidency, Bush just got it back down after 7 years in office. Third what honor and dignity? What about Bush lying to Congress about Iraq, pardoned his personal friend Scooter Libby who committed a serious crime, his cabinet is corrupt, Alberto Gonzales scandal and Bush lies to America time after time.|||Dictator Dumbya was NEVER elected. He should be %26quot;thanked%26quot; with a life sentence in a super max, no parole.|||Oh thanks for reminding me!

Mr. President, thanks for all you have done for this great nation. One last favor if you don%26#039;t mind? accept Cheney%26#039;s resignation, then resign. go fishing or out to lunch or some thing? and please stay away from politics,Thank u sir.

Edit: 9 Mil, good paying job since 2003? 2003? 2003?remember now not 2000? but 2003?

well, i guess we are going to have a long line of people applying for unemployment soon? low 4.6% unemp. rate? well hell.....?

Restoring honor and lablala? far out dudes?

btw: do you work for the company?

What do you think of Mission work in 3rd world countries?

We provide food, water, clothes, shoes etc. to Haitian villages. We go in the %26quot;name of the Lord%26quot; but do not preach to them. We just love them. Especially the children. The Haitian government doesn%26#039;t do much for their people. There is 85% unemployment rate. If others don%26#039;t come in and help these people, they are doomed. Do you think this is a good thing? Why or why not?

What do you think of Mission work in 3rd world countries?student loan

With all due respect to the previous answerer, I don%26#039;t find it hard to believe that you don%26#039;t preach. There are many different Christian perspectives, and the church I belong to would likely have major issues with a missionary who thought that the job should be about preaching. There is no better way to reach people%26#039;s hearts than by loving them, and that implies helping them with their most basic needs.

I think it is a fantastic thing to go into a foreign country to do this kind of work, though it is also a calling, which means that not everyone is meant to do it. If you have reflected on all the difficulties very carefully and still believe you are meant to do this, then good on you! However, there is no shame in deciding that you, with your own personality and strengths, can do better for people right here at home.

Cheers and good luck!

And you don%26#039;t preach to them. Why do I find that hard to believe?|||Its great that you%26#039;re doing such good work! That%26#039;s wonderful. Its great that they know you are helping them in the LORD%26#039;s name.

I do hope that eventually you will share the good news though - that%26#039;s what we%26#039;re called by Jesus to do in missions. They can have physical sustinence, but without the LORD, they%26#039;re still lost.

God bless!|||Don%26#039;t lie about not preaching to them.|||As long as you arent the ones that fly from town to town doing jesus plays for kids, then leave.....|||It%26#039;s good to help them if you don%26#039;t preach Bible nonsense. That they don%26#039;t need.|||The whole reason these countries haven%26#039;t developed in the first place is BECAUSE we keep helping them.

It%26#039;s like a parant that keeps changing the kid after he%26#039;s supposed to outgrow it. It you do that long enough, the kid will need changing and breast feeding when he%26#039;s 12.|||Yeah i agree with point made above, you should not give it to the people, but teach them how to produce it themselves and give them the raw materials|||I think that some of the things that are going on in South East Asia are despicable and horrific (Refusing to give starving people food until they convert to Christianity, tearing part families by converting half of the family members and telling them to convert the rest).

As long as religion is left out of it and charity is given freely it is an admirable and wonderful practice, but when missionaries begin to force Christianity on people it becomes sickening.|||The poor do not want to hear the gospel when they are starving to death or freezing. We have to speak to their needs first and then preach, the Mormons claim to have been the first to reach the survivors of in New Orleans, I am sure a couple of those survivors are now Mormons. I have heard stories of people handing out toys and they knew there was not enough to go around, but like the fish and bread, God multiplied it and there was enough to go around, they kepted pulling more toys out of the box and knew they only had a certian amount and that there couldn%26#039;t have been enough for all.|||1. Christian missionaries in America are deadly. They carry the virus called %26#039;American cultural values%26#039;.|||I%26#039;ve seen your so-called missionary work here in New Orleans, which currently is like a 3rd world country. You people show up, gut houses, help rebuild, then start preaching %26#039;the word%26#039;, after insisting that%26#039;s not what you came to do. If you want to help people, quit the missionary work and join the Peace Corp.

***and you go to another country to %26quot;help%26quot; but don%26#039;t even bother to learn the language??? That rather limits the %26quot;help%26quot; you can offer, doesn%26#039;t it? Americans have a bad name all over the world for going places without even trying to learn the languages.

Why do the liberal elite drive around in limousines while the working class starve to death?

Working and middle class Americans should support republicans because the rich Republicans are the ones who have companies that actually set people up with jobs. Whereas the liberal elite only support themselves with the money they earn. That%26#039;s why the unemployment rate is so high in LA, because of the elite in liberal Hollywood.

Let%26#039;s just leave it at there are lot of rich people on both sides of the political spectrum who do alot of strange things and none of them have an affinity for the %26#039;real%26#039; people of the US , Canada, Britain, Australia etc.

There are some very well to do people who do offer aid and resources, but too many are nouveau riche and just enjoy throwing their wealth around and go wow ain%26#039;t it great how wealthy I am.

Don%26#039;t know. Just don%26#039;t bother so much and strive harder for your goals and dreams.|||Those big hearted sweet republican executives companies like Enron and Haliburton and a thousand others.... They care only for the under priviledged poor.|||Do you mean like Barbara Streisand and her 5 mansions, private jets, and 20 thousand square foot air conditioned barn for her horses, or Al Gore and his 4 houses and private jet, not to mention his fleet of SUVs. The simple answer is that in their mind they are the elite and intelligent therefore deserving of the luxuries of life. The rest of us, their working class need to sacrifice for the betterment of the world and those of the elite upperclass of society. I think a simple word would be hypocrite. A simple word for anyone that listens to them would be naive|||Firstly they earned the right to live lavishly. Secondly, most of them are quite generous to specific causes. Now there are people for sure in the Hollywood elite who are very superficial in all they do. But many are generous to a fault. However your CE Os with their exorbiant salary%26#039;s and lifestyles just suck us dry; like that CEO who retired from EXXON with a bonus big enough to give every driver a gallon of gas as we are paying 3 Bucks a gallon or more.

On the other hand there are Bill Gates kind of guys who realize they have more money than anyone needs. People like him were driven from the need to succeed and acheive. Greed was not their principle motivation to succeed.|||Support Republicians? Yeah right...every Republican that has ever been in office took us to war. Is Bush giving in to anything to help, Hell No! The war started on his watch but it will end on ours. He cannot even finish what he started. He came in rich, he will leave richer...because of the working class people. He is the last person I respect!|||Because the liberal elite, like the conservative elite, are a bunch of hypocrites.|||Let%26#039;s see, you must be talking about the conservative rich Republican elite, the Waltons, that owns Walmart and is being sued for forcing workers to work off the clock or told they will be fired, and are being sued by over a million and a half of their workers for denying them raises and promotions because of their gender? And this %26quot;wonderful%26quot; right-wing owned and run Republican company is one of the largest employers of US workers, who also happens to pay such low wages that many of their workers are on public assistance, since they can%26#039;t afford Walmart%26#039;s expensive health coverage and can%26#039;t even pay for their housing costs and are being supported by the American public%26#039;s taxes? I%26#039;m sure if you open a few more Republican-owned Walmart%26#039;s in LA, American taxpayers will be supporting even more Walmart workers...so they can afford housing and healthcare.

State capitlism has to go?

why do people think they need a government to tell them how to run their buisness, control taxes and where the money is spent. Decide whether our school system is working or not etc. Most of the people i know and talk to, are hard working small buisness owners that can hardly afford to hirer workers to help them so they end up doing 80% of the work themselves. Is that the true american dream? working 80+ hours a week simply because small buisness owners cant afford all the things they have to do to hire outside peoples to help out? Thus effects the job output and effects the unemployment rate. While the state is saying Walmart is ok to bring into your neighborhood but.we will tax small buisness.possibly put them out of business so they can work at walmart, further making the state and large corps richer.Im not anti capitlism.I just think the state shouldnt have control as to how we run our businesses The state seems to be fascist who suppresses our freedomsof living the american dream

You are describing state socialism. Capitalism requires low corporate and personal taxes so that monies are available for research/product improvement and people have money to spend. The free market decides prices and competition prevents abuses. With your last sentence, you are getting close since fascism is a form of socialism.

Large, monolithic corporation and government entities are not cool in any format.|||I cannot argue.|||Well, combine state %26quot;capitlism%26quot; and federal government, then you have serious oppression.

I would rather have the states decide.|||You almost sound like a true Libertarian. Good for you. But it%26#039;s not just federal involvement in business that has to go, it%26#039;s government of any kind that needs to be limited where the free market is concerned.

Support free markets whenever possible and we%26#039;ll see the return of strong small businesses. Supporting Ron Paul is a good place to start.

Has anybody else ever sat up at night and worried so much...?

about what is going to happen to America that they couldn%26#039;t sleep? Seriously, I didn%26#039;t get to sleep until 2:00 last night and I got in bed at 11:30 because I was thinking about Social Security, and the deficit, and the prospects of other countries refusing to buy our bonds, and the illegal immigrant problem, and the unemployment rate especially in Michigan, and other things. I know a lot of people worry about what life is going to be like for the kids, but I am the kid and is my generation doomed?

Has anybody else ever sat up at night and worried so much...?online loan

Wow. I%26#039;m impressed that you are worrying about such big issues rather than about the more mundane things that keep most of your contemporaries awake. I guess the only prospective I can offer you is that when enough people get concerned about problems, eventually they get solved, although there is a lot of posturing and name calling and dramatics in the process before things get worked out. When I was a kid, we used to have drills in school where we would practice what to do if the USSR dropped the bomb on us (like hiding under our desks would save us from a nuclear bomb!) and then years later, I had a Russian friend who had immigrated here after the cold war was over and she told me that little Russian school kids had been doing the same thing. Now the USSR is gone, the cold war is over, and we have new worries -- terrorists and rogue nations that have the bomb. There are economic concerns, too, but really in the greater scheme of things, I worry more about the terrorists. But I don%26#039;t sit up at night worrying about it, because I am powerless to do much. (I have an occasional sleepless night when I am worried about one of my teenage kids, but I can%26#039;t make them do everything I wish they would do either.) I guess I have faith that there are enough good people in the world that in the end we can make things right. One thing we all have to do is not depend on the government or anyone else to take care of us. We have to take responsibility for our own lives. I am not counting on social security to sustain me. If enough people in every generation take responsibility first for themselves and then to begin solving the problems around them, we can work it out. The fact that you are so concerned means that you can be part of the solution. Get educated, get active, and help build a better future for you and those who come after you.

You gotta make choices and take the good with the bad.|||I would do whatever I needed to do to support my family and keep our home. In fact, when I was part of a RIF a few years back, I applied ANYWHERE I could think of. A job is a job. Right now, I think I%26#039;d be happier in a %26quot;menial%26quot; job than where I am now, but at the moment, the pay cut would put us too far into debt.
