How to pay for my future laptop?

i want to purchase a laptop from HP or DEll, but i amn%26#039;t sure which payment methods i should choose.

i had planned to use my credit card and then to pay it off graudally. but later i saw HP and Dell both offer low interests rate financing, so i just wonder if anyone out there tried either of them before. do they really offer low interetst rates which beat credit card rates(mine is around 18%), and are there additonal financing charges if i finance with them?

thank you in advance.

No I have used dell%26#039;s. They do not offer you low rates... mine was 23.99%. Also they may have deals like 6 months no interest. But the important thing to remember is that if you don%26#039;t pay off the balance within that time they will add all of the back interest to your account. This is the same with any company that offers it%26#039;s own financing and similar deals. (hp, bestbuy, dell, etc.)

Don%26#039;t use Dells financing. They will rake you over the coals. It starts off all nice with some low interest hype but then tells you that you don%26#039;t qualify but they%26#039;ll do it for 27.99%. Comes out to about $50 a month in interest alone. Don%26#039;t do it. I%26#039;m beginning to believe I%26#039;ll never get my laptop paid off.|||All credit card companies have the right to raise your interest rate if they check your credit and you are late paying someone else. Best way to pay --- CASH! If you can%26#039;t afford it now, sell stuff. Why would you want to to pay $3500 for a $3000 computer.
