Why are so many people EMPLOYED in this BUSH Economy?

Our economy has created 1.6 million jobs in the last 12 months, and 8.22 million since August 2003 when the labor market began its turnaround. Private employment increased by 24,000 jobs in August, marking the 48th consecutive month of private job growth. The unemployment rate remained VERY VERY low at 4.6 percent, below the average of each of the past four decades!

Thanks GWB!

Why are so many people EMPLOYED in this BUSH Economy?

That%26#039;s what happens when you cut taxes and give people a hand up instead of a typical Democrat handout.

Why are so many people EMPLOYED in this BUSH Economy? loan

Heh, it%26#039;s easy when you blow up the national debt. No magic, there.

.|||Because most of them are hookers like you.|||The Reagan said government needs to get out of the way.

I got my good paying job with good benefits cause I went to college and busted my @ss.

Republicans shouldn%26#039;t take credit for my job! Neither the democrats|||your pulling my leg|||OMG 4000 jobs were cut last month.

The FIRST time in 48 months where that%26#039;s occurred. It must be a record!

As soon as fall hits and the next three major Holiday%26#039;s... I%26#039;m predicting 20,000 more jobs.

Per the libs though, %26quot;The sky is falling!%26quot;|||Because wages are lower than ever and people are working more for less money.

It%26#039;s all the competition from China.

Soon we will have full employment because we will all be serfs - unless we get some pro-Middle Class government back.

http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/story/9...|||This isn%26#039;t a Bush economy. It%26#039;s a congressional and Federal Reserve economy. It always has been. Bush will just take credit for it.|||The backbone of the US economy has been the auto industry. And the unemployment/jobloss rates for the auto industry alone are at the highest levels in their entire history.

Michigan , the auto capital, used to lead the nation is lowest number of unemployed. Now they are one of the highest in unemployed.

The unemployment rate has gone up since Bush has been in office. And this is coming from someone who twice voted for the moron.|||Most jobs %26quot;created%26quot; pay less than the ones that were eliminated. At least you admit that it%26#039;s thanks to George The Psychopathic Incompetent.|||Source?

http://www.economagic.com/em-cgi/data.ex...

According to my source, the overall unemployment when Bush took office was 3.9%.

Now, it%26#039;s 4.6%.

By way of comparison, when Clinton took office, the rate was 7.3%. It dropped to 3.9% by the time he left. I wouldn%26#039;t say that Bush has done wonders for employment. It looks like he kept it about the same. Fortunately, he didn%26#039;t have much work to do...thanks to Clinton.|||Because he%26#039;s failed to secure our borders?|||Yeah and how is that sub prime economy working for ya ?

Kind of like the Bush administration, all shiney and bright on the outside, but on closer examination, its all smoke and mirrors. You have any idea how much we have BORROWED from China to pay for Bush%26#039;s war?

Your grand kids, grand kids will still be paying for it.

Meanwhile all indications are we are headed into a recession.

Thanks GWB.|||The truth is in the details. Many of these jobs are part time, don%26#039;t offer affordable health insurance or benefits and many don%26#039;t pay like those that have been outsourced, that%26#039;s why they were outsourced. Our imports outweigh our exports. Exports= good paying manufacturing jobs, of which we have lost millions. Taking things at face value can be dangerous!|||you really need a new avtar miss.|||Penelope-the United States lost 4.000 jobs in August, when it was expected to increase by 100,000 and has increased economists worries that the economy is headed for recession

Exactly what fantasy land do you live in?|||Your numbers are actually kind of questionable. The unemployment rate does not necessarily reflect the actual employment rank. It does not reflect the high numbers of workers in minimun wage positions either. It is not enough to cite numbers of jobs created. You need also to show the types of jobs that have been created. Unemployment figures do not count people that do not reecieve unemplyment, but mat actually be unemployed, such as those on welfare and homeless people that recieve no aid at all.|||Because a 150 thousand soldier are sent off to Iraq and another million jobs to create supplies for the war have been created in the US to support the war.

The current economy is only because the current government is directly overspending.|||The GREAT SERVICE SECTOR!!!

Thanks President Bush!|||Please tell that to the 4000 who lost their jobs.

Please tell that to the 12,000 about to lose their jobs with Countrywide.

Please tell that to the 400,000 who lose their jobs every year to China.

Please tell that to the several hundred people who showed up at Wal-mart who only had openings for 65.|||All those supposed jobs are probably government jobs. As you know, Bush has done a excellent job doubleling the size of government. They are always hiring at the police departments, Blackwater USA, Armed Forces, etc.

But as for private sector jobs, you have got to be joking!

Now, since you are capable of research, then I suggest you research how many times congress had to raise the debt ceiling under Bush. And while you are at it, look into how much we are spending and how much we are taking in with revenue. If you just balance a simple check book, you will finally take your head out of the sand and notice that the jobs are going bye bye. In short, we are spending ourselves to death.|||Again, honey, most the %26quot;jobs%26quot; you speak of are not high-paying, mortgage-affording jobs, so stop crowing about it, OK?|||You are right we need a change, there are to many people working, and that economy has to be shut down. We also need to bring our troops home......This add brought to you by Hillary in%26#039;08

G.I. where have you been, our national debt is half of what it was when Bush took over......as you are aware, the %26quot;surplus%26quot; under Clinton was a theoretical one, that never existed. The %26quot;Bush %26quot;tax cuts%26quot; have almost tripled the federal tax revenue. If every thing keeps on the way it is going now, by the time that Bush leaves office, the deficit will be the smallest in the past 75 years.|||GI.... the National Debt drives employment???? How, please explain that to me.

I think it%26#039;s hilarious that the libs still complain about how horrible the economy is.

Consumer confidence is at an all time high, unemployment is lower now than when the liberal savior was in office. Inflation is in check....

I don%26#039;t get liberal... I guess they just like to complain whether the complaints are valid or not.

Buy Carbon Credits!!!!
